usdc from metamask to phantom to trust wallet

I sent USDC from MetaMask to my Phantom wallet on the BNB Chain!

If you mistakenly sent USDC from your MetaMask wallet to your Phantom wallet on the BEP20 (BNB Chain) network, don’t worry—you’re not alone! Phantom doesn’t support BEP20 tokens, as it only works with Solana, Ethereum, Polygon, and Bitcoin.

So, how can you recover your USDC?

Steps to Recover Your USDC

1. Create a new Trust Wallet: Import the seed phrase from your Phantom Wallet (which you’ve never shared with anyone) into a wallet that supports BEP20 tokens, such as Trust Wallet.

2. Check Your Balance: Once Trust Wallet is set up, you should see your USDC in your portfolio.

3. Transfer BNB for Fees: Send some BNB to your Trust Wallet to cover the transaction fees for moving your USDC.

4. Transfer Your USDC: Move your USDC from Trust Wallet to a compatible wallet or exchange.

And that's it! Your USDC is back where it belongs.
